- Title:
- Horsemouth
- Date:
- 2007-11-15
- Description:
- What started out as an idea about a kick-bass relationship turned into my first experiment with broken beats, and ended up a heavy/happy … it doesn't even matter what. I wrote it and it's finished. That's all that matters.
- Title:
- 1t1d.01
- Date:
- 2007-02-18
- Description:
- "One Tune One Day" is a personal exercise (though not necessarily an original one) wherein I record one tune before going to sleep every night, with few creative limitations. This time, a word was prescribed to each day's tune for the sake of inspiration, which then became the tune's name. More information is in
file_id.txt. This is my first 1t1d.
- Title:
- Ho Soda
- Date:
- 2006-06-11
- Description:
- My first Album-a-Day, co-written and co-performed with J. Wine. With six pieces totalling 20:57, we chose the lower limit of length, rather than of quantity of songs. Instruments used include blue water jug, parts of an unconstructed tubulon, skateboard, mic-in-sock, digital clock alarm, and grand piano. Perverse album title is courtesy of J. Wine.
- Title:
- NSF IM SFX
- Date:
- 2006-03-26
- Description:
- Just a few minutes with Notepad2 and MuMML can make you a fresh set of short 8-bit audio snippets for use in any instant message or email client. It keeps my IM experience retro enough for me.
- Title:
- Dnsf 01
- Date:
- 2005-11-29
- Description:
- This trio of NSFs introduced another short tune, another full-length tune, and a test piece demonstrating the possiblity of a microtonal system -- in this case, 19-tone equal temperament. All notes for this piece were entered as direct frequencies into the code with the help of the attached conversion chart. Compiled with MuMML.
- Title:
- Being in the Skeleton World [beta]
- Date:
- 2005-08-06
- Description:
- In the middle of a depressed period when nothing gets created, sometimes one gets fed up with what has become the static slouching for just enough time to make something new and, fortunately, out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, this one may stay as a demo forever, but we'll see … Please view the info for more details.
- Title:
- Dnsf 00
- Date:
- 2005-08-01
- Description:
- The first NSF pack, and mainly an experiment with composing in any low-bit format. Included is an arrangement of an original piece from an older age, using DPCM samples from a Casio SK-5. Written in a text editor and compiled with MuMML.
